New year. New us! Sastrify, a virtual procurement department for SaaS contracts.
The first 10 weeks of 2021 have been a crazy ride. Not only have we been able to double the SaaS spend on our platform to more than USD 70m, but we also had the pleasure to welcome numerous new clients. Also, our product team was working hard to develop new features together with our early clients to make their SaaS procurement 10x better.
Simplifying the often complex and intransparent world of enterprise SaaS. That being our mission, we are turning ourselves into Sastrify.
Cloud-native, as well as more traditional companies, are struggling to keep up with the always growing number of software solutions. Due to the pandemic and remote-office regulations, a jungle of software spend has emerged. Sastrify acts like a virtual procurement department, as it uses AI-based detection methods to create transparency on software subscriptions and leads data-backed negotiations for their customers with a specialized team of buyers.
Having been CTO and CFO at our former company evopark, all of the software contracts landed on our table. The hours spent on those contracts and negotiations, we would much rather have invested into our product. Therefore, we knew right from the start that outsourcing software procurement makes a lot of sense.
Numerous well-known companies seem to agree: Emma Sleep, Blacklane, Limehome, Studitemps, and Usercentrics are all already customers of Sastrify. Within only a couple of weeks, we were not only able to reduce the operational workload for contract management, negotiations, etc. but have also saved our customers more than a million dollars in annual software spend. It simply makes sense - that’s the beauty of the model. This allowed Sastrify to grow from the official launch earlier this year already to a five-figure monthly recurring revenue.
Currently, we are investing heavily in the further automation of processes. At the same time, Sastrify is onboarding the first international customers as well as companies with up to ten thousand employees. The team works remotely first from the beginning, without their own office.
